目的:研究经皮椎体成形术与保守疗法治疗胸腰椎骨质疏松性骨折的临床疗效。方法:选取2013年7月到2014年7月我院收治的胸腰椎骨质疏松性骨折患者110例,按照随机数字表法将患者分为研究组和对照组,每组55例。对照组给予保守疗法治疗,研究组给予经皮椎体成形术治疗,比较两组临床疗效,应用视觉模拟评分法(VAS)评价治疗前后的疼痛情况,并分析Cobb角度和并发症。结果:研究组总有效率90.9%显著高于对照组的76.4%(P0.05);治疗后研究组VAS评分显著低于对照组(P0.05);两组并发症发生率比较无统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:经皮椎体成形术治疗胸腰椎骨质疏松性骨折具有较好的临床疗效,能有效改善腰椎部疼痛症状。  相似文献

Regional variation in properties of vertebral bone from brown Salmo trutta and rainbow trout Oncorhychus mykiss were explored by using microhardness tests. Statistically‐significant positive correlations were identified between the microhardness of bone and its mineral content. In both brown and rainbow trout, the vertebrae from the caudal region were harder than those of the trunk region. There was a significant difference between the species; microhardness of bone from vertebrae of rainbow trout was greater than those from brown trout.  相似文献

Abstract: Patagoniaemys gasparinae gen. et sp. nov. is a new stem turtle found in central Patagonia, Chubut Province, Argentina, in outcrops of the La Colonia Formation (Campanian–Maastrichtian). This is a turtle of relatively large size (carapace length c. 70 cm), and the preserved remains of the holotype consist of skull fragments and several postcranial elements including a nearly complete vertebral column. A phylogenetic analysis shows Patagoniaemys gasparinae gen. et sp. nov. forming a monophyletic group with Otwayemys cunicularius and Mongolochelys efremovi, as a sister group to Meiolaniidae. A comprehensive review confirms that formed cervical vertebrae appeared independently several times during turtle evolution: in the clade that includes Patagoniaemys gasparinae gen. et sp. nov. and Meiolaniidae, in some baenids, in the total group Pleurodira and in crown group Cryptodira. Likewise, formed caudal vertebrae appeared several times in turtle evolution.  相似文献

Great hammerhead sharks Sphyrna mokarran are the largest member of Sphyrnidae, yet the roles of these large sharks in the food webs of coastal ecosystems are still poorly understood. Here we obtained samples of muscle, liver and vertebrae from large S. mokarran (234–383 cm total length; LT) caught as by-catch off eastern Australia and used stable-isotope analyses of δ15N, δ13C and δ34S to infer their resource use and any associated ontogenetic patterns. The results indicated large S. mokarran are apex predators primarily relying on other sharks and rays for their diet, with a preference for benthic resources such as Australian cownose rays Rhinoperon neglecta during the austral summer. Teleosts, cephalopods and crustaceans were not significant components of S. mokarran diets, though some conspecifics appeared to rely on more diverse resources over the austral summer. Ontogenetic shifts in resource use were detected but trajectories of the increases in trophic level varied among individuals. Most S. mokarran had non-linear trajectories in ontogenetic resource-use shifts implying size was not the main explanatory factor. Stable isotope values of δ13C and δ34S in muscle suggest S. mokarran span coastal, pelagic and benthic food webs in eastern Australia.  相似文献

Ancillary evaluation of spinal Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) via variogram-based texture evaluation (e.g., Trabecular Bone Score) is used for improving the fracture risk assessment, despite no proven relationship with vertebral strength. The purpose of this study was thus to determine whether classical variogram-based parameters (sill variance and correlation length) evaluated from simulated DXA scans could help predicting the in vitro vertebral strength.Experimental data of thirteen human full vertebrae (i.e., with posterior elements) and twelve vertebral bodies were obtained from two existing studies. Areal bone mineral density (aBMD) was calculated from 2D projection images of the 3D HR-pQCT scan of the specimens mimicking clinical DXA scans. Stochastic predictors, sill variance and correlation length, were calculated from their experimental variogram. Vertebral strength was measured as the maximum failure load of human vertebrae and vertebral bodies from mechanical tests.Vertebral strength correlated significantly with sill variance (r = 0.727) and correlation length (r = 0.727) for the vertebral bodies, and with correlation length (r = 0.593) for full vertebrae. However, the stochastic predictors improved the strength prediction made by aBMD alone by only 11% for the vertebral bodies while no improvement was observed for the full vertebrae.Despite a correlation, classical variogram parameters such as sill variance and correlation length do not enhance the prediction of in vitro vertebral strength beyond aBMD. It remains unclear why some variogram-based evaluations of DXA improve fracture prediction without a proven relationship with vertebral strength.  相似文献

The caudal neurosecretory system is described here for the first time in the zebrafish, one of the most important models used to study biological processes. Light- and electron-microscopical approaches have been employed to describe the structural organization of Dahlgren cells and the urophysis, together with the immunohistochemical localization of urotensin I and II (UI and UII) peptides. Two latero-ventral bands of neuronal perikarya in the caudal spinal cord project axons to the urophysis. The largest secretory neurons (~20 μm) are located rostrally. UII-immunoreactive perikarya are much more numerous than those immunoreactive for UI. A few neurons are immunopositive for both peptides. Axons contain 75-nm to 180-nm dense-core vesicles comprising two populations distributed in two axonal types (A and B). Large dense vesicles predominate in type A axons and smaller ones in type B. Immunogold double-labelling has revealed that some fibres contain both UI and UII, sometimes even within the same neurosecretory granule. UII is apparently the major peptide present and predominates in type A axons, with UI predominating in type B. A surprising finding, not previously reported in other fish, is the presence of dense-core vesicles, similar to those in neurons, in astrocytes including their end-feet around capillaries. Secretory type vesicles are also evident in ependymocytes and cerebrospinal-fluid-contacting neurons in the terminal spinal cord. Thus, in addition to the urophysis, this region may possess further secretory systems whose products and associated targets remain to be established. These results provide the basis for further experimental, genetic and developmental studies of the urophysial system in the zebrafish.  相似文献

The present study was designed to investigate how the form of the marsupial thoracolumbar vertebrae varies to cope with the particular demands of diverse loading and locomotor behaviors. The vertebral columns of 10 species of Macropodidae, with various body masses and modes of locomotion, together with two other arboreal marsupials, koala and cuscus, were selected. Seventy-four three-dimensional landmark coordinates were acquired on each of the 10 last presacral vertebrae of the 70 vertebral columns. The interspecific variations of the third lumbar vertebra (L3, which approximates the mean) and the transitional patterns of the thoracolumbar segments were examined using the combined approach of generalized Procrustes analysis (GPA) and principal components analysis (PCA). The results of analyses of an individual vertebra (L3) and of the transitional patterns indicate significant interspecific differences. In the L3 study the first PC shows allometric shape variation, while the second PC seems to relate to adaptation for terrestrial versus arboreal locomotion. When the L3 vertebrae of the common spotted cuscus and koala are included for comparison, the vertebra of the tree kangaroo occupies an intermediate position between the hopping kangaroo and these arboreal marsupials. The L3 vertebrae in the arboreal marsupials possess a distinct dorsoventrally expanded vertebral body, and perpendicularly orientated spinous and transverse processes. The results of the present study suggest that vertebral shape in the kangaroo and wallaroos provides a structural adaptation to hopping through a relatively enlarged loading area and powerful lever system. In contrast, the small-sized bettongs (or rat kangaroos) have a relatively flexible column and elongated levers for the action of back muscles that extend and laterally flex the spine. The complex pattern of vertebral shape transition in the last 10 presacral vertebrae was examined using PCAs that compare between species information about vertebral shape variation along the thoracolumbar column. The results reinforce and emphasize important aspects of the patterns of variation seen in the detailed analysis of the third lumbar vertebra. The results also imply that size, spinal loading pattern, and locomotor behavior exert an influence on shaping the vertebra. Further, the morphological adaptations are consistent within these marsupials and this opens up the possibility that this kind of analysis may be useful in making functional inferences from fossil material.  相似文献
